Chongo Magazine is a multimedia magazine on Masculinity and Male Photography edited by Pablo Bartolomé since November 2011. It became a reality to exalt the male figure and give different points of view about it.

Chongo, which is a slang from Argentina that means "macho" (a very masculine guy), introduces anonymous guys from different cities and countries, highlighting their particularities at the same time as it foregrounds a factor in common: a powerful physique.

To date, we have released 6 issues, they all available in paper in limited editions of 1,000 copies and digital for tablet, smartphone and computer. Chongo has had the pleasure to count on the participation of talented photographers and collaborators around the world who have contributed to build a consistent archetype of "chongo" from their own backgrounds, experiences and references, including art, cinema, music, cultural studies...
